Photo Shoot | A Frosty Peveril Castle

Last weekend's frost was far too tempting to stay in bed so with the alarm set early I headed on my way to Peveril Castle. The morning hues were stunning and I couldn't resist a brief stop at Ladybower reservoir to capture the reflections in the mirrored water.

The whole morning didn't disappoint, starting clear with a heavy frost but soon some cloud coverage rolled in to my delight. The icy walk up Cavedale was well worth the effort. Looking back to see Peveril Castle standing proud against the sunlit hills was spectacular.
